WIOA Combined State Plan

Modified South Carolina State PlanIn accordance with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), South Carolina's core partners for WIOA, including SCVRD, have jointly developed a combined 4-year state plan. The 2020 to 2023 plan, which includes for the first time additional partners beyond the core partners, has been approved by the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Department of Education. The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) requires the Governor of each state to submit a modification of the Program Years 2020 to 2023 WIOA State Plan at the midpoint of the four-year strategic plan. South Carolina's WIOA Combined State Plan covers the following programs:

  • Adult Education and Family Literacy Act
  • Wagner-Peyser ACT ES
  • Vocational Rehabilitation
  • Jobs for Veterans State Grant
  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training
  • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families
  • Trade Adjustment Assistance
